Gulf Air Group Partners with IATA to Enroll Integrated Sustainability Program

As part of its commitment to sustainability, Gulf Air Group (GFG) has partnered with IATA by enrolling in the IATA Integrated Sustainability Program (ISP) Pilot.

This industry-wide initiative is designed for both airlines and airports, promoting sustainable practices through three key pillars: Sustainable Procurement, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability Performance Monitoring.

• The Sustainable Procurement module focuses on embedding sustainability within procurement processes.
• The Social Responsibility module aims to enhance sustainable development and social responsibility by translating principles into actionable best practices.
• The Sustainability Performance module supports the development of strategies to monitor key sustainability metrics aligned with global ESG frameworks.

The workshop brought together participants from across GFG, including the Risk & Sustainability, HR, and Procurement departments, as well as representatives from Gulf Air and Bahrain Airport Company’s Customer Experience, Safety, and Operations teams.
